The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented.

The exterior coated canvas and leather is clean and beautiful throughout with faint rubbing on the bottom corners and faint scuffing on the handles. The hardware remains bright and shiny with minor, hairline surface scratches to the metal feet. The interior lining is clean but has some light rubbing to all the pockets and compartments.
