Description
After Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) original lithograph titled Bouquet of Peace, which was created in July of 1958 to commemorate a peace demonstration held in Stockholm, Sweden on July 12-16, 1958. The piece was printed by Schuster, Paris, and printed on the verso in the lower right corner is the words Printed in Paris. It is printed on heavy wove (possibly Arches) paper. This lithograph was a special version of the original color painting titled Hands with Flowers, which was painted in April of 1958. It is matted and framed under glass in a black frame. With frame, it measures 29.5 inches x 35.5 inches. This piece was acquired from a Metro Washington DC estate. Because this is a lithograph and not the original piece of art, it is listed as after Picasso. , 29.5IN x 35.5IN (75cm x 90cm), LOT REF #24-224
