The vase is decorated with two stylised beast handles to the neck, the pear-shaped body is decorated with iron-red phoenix birds flying amidst lotus, peony and chrysanthemum scrolling branches, above sea waves and under a band of ruyi heads to the rim. The bottom is turquoise glazed with a Chinese Qianlong four character mark. Height: 47 cm.
