Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Jamacoaque (Jama Coaque) culture, ca. 500 BCE to 500 CE. An interesting pottery house model with a curved, brightly-painted roofline, a central chamber with the roof's "chimney" doubling as the spout, and a stylized anthropomorphic figure seated in the doorway that is shown playing a set of pan pipes. Size: 4.4" L x 3.125" W x 3.7" H (11.2 cm x 7.9 cm x 9.4 cm)

Condition
Professional repair and restoration to base, figure's legs, and areas of roof, with resurfacing and overpainting along new material and break lines. Minor earthen deposits, with light fading to original pigment, otherwise in nice condition. Good preservation to overall form.
