A 1999-2002 Fender Sting Artist Series Signature Precision Bass, serial #P065016, in two color sunburst. The bass is a Fender Japan reissue of the ’57 P-bass Sting has been famous for playing for decades with The Police as well as a solo artist.

Crafted in Japan, the Sting Signature Precision Bass features a 34” scale length maple neck, 20 frets, vintage-style tuners, dot inlays with a special pearloid block with Sting’s signature at the 12th fret position. A two color sunburst finish on an ash body, white pickguard, a two saddle bridge, a single coil pickup, master volume and master tone controls mounted to a chrome plate.

Sting has signed the bass below the G string. Includes black soft-shell case with a grey interior and a personal note from Sting dated 2024 and addressed, “Dear Friend…”
