A c. 1990s Modulus-Alembic Blackknife solid body electric guitar with graphite neck in a greenish-blue burst finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist.

This guitar was custom made for Randy after he learned of one made for Steve Lukather of Toto. On the subject of the ultra-stable neck material Randy remarks, “It’s solid graphite, so there’s no give on the neck.”

Solid graphite neck with gold hardware, a 24 fret phenolic fingerboard, dot inlays, and a graphite-epoxy nut with a string locking mechanism. The alder body is finished in a green-blue burst, with thee Evans pickups controlled by individual on-off switches, master volume, and two tones. Gold Kahler vibrato. Roland GK-2A Guitar Synthesizer pickup mounted in front of the bridge, with the control unit top-mounted beneath.
