A 1950s Arnold Hoyer Solist archtop guitar in natural finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist. Part of Randy’s huge collection of German-made Archtop guitars, assembled over a period of 30-plus years.
Large headstock with Arnold Hoyer Solist logos and six plastic button tuners. Red nut, zero fret and block inlays on a bound ebony fretboard. Maple neck, carved flame maple back, flame maple sides, carved spruce top with multi-ply binding and large catseye sound holes. Harp tailpiece, adjustable rosewood bridge. “Wilhelm Monke” on back of headstock.
Includes soft-shell case.
