A 1983 Roland Jupiter-8 61 Key Synthesizer, serial #363114, owned and played by Stu Phillips, composer of many of Film and Television’s most memorable themes including The Monkees, The Six Million Dollar Man, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, and Knight Rider. Purchased by Phillips in 1983, this JP-8 was a working instrument in his studio for years while providing music for various projects. Includes Phillips’ handwritten patch notes affixed to the front of the instrument. Black finish, multi-colored buttons, controls for LFO, VCO Modulator, VCO-1, VCO-2, VCF, VCA, ENV-1, ENV-2, and both on/offs and mixers for each. With power cable.
