Description
A cropped jacket with multi-color sequined decorations, labeled "Audrey Carter," no size present, owned and worn by Joan Jett in the official "Dirty Deeds" music video (AC/DC cover), as well as worn on stage and backstage circa 1989 on tour on and at a residency at Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Broadway March 1-March 5, 1989.
In an interview, Jett discussed David Bowie coming to the first night of her Broadway residency in 1989 (wherein many photos were taken of Jett wearing this jacket with Bowie and others) and she said, "...we were doing five shows on Broadway in 1989 and he came down I believe on the first night and took pictures with me and hung out after the show and we spoke about whatever was happening at the time; he was always very gracious to me and friendly and not weird at all."
Includes a black and white publicity photograph of Jett signed in gold marker "Thanks for supporting Musicares! Rock Hard! Love Joan Jett [star];" a framed photo of Jett wearing the jacket with Bowie backstage on Broadway which photo matches to the jacket; and an All Access laminated crew badge and official Playbill booklet from the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre residency.
