Large octavo; illustrated; bound in full russet morocco for Charles Sawyer Ltd., London; with the binder's cipher with two interlocking S's inside back board; large miniature portrait of Lady Hamilton likely after George Romney's 1784 portrait, "The Spinstress"; under glass inside the front board; inside boards set in panels of contrasting blue morocco; boards rounded and tooled ornately in gilt; aeg., rebacked, 8 1/4 x 5 1/2 in.
