1939, one likely printed ca. 1990.

1) Gelatin silver print, signed by Freund in ink on the lower left blank margin and her copyright stamp to verso (faint scattered superficial inconsistencies on the surface of the print, primarily noticeable under strong raking light, not under typical viewing conditions; no emulsion loss); 15 ¼ x 11 ½ in.

2) Vintage gelatin silver print, (some silvering in the darkest areas of the print when examined under strong raking light, minor areas of retouching barely affecting composition, verso: toned, minor area of adhesive residue); 9 ¼ x 7 in. This image is often seen reversed and tinted.
