Description
Roullet & Decamps, France. Automaton peacock. Naturalistically formed with real peacock feathers and a clockwork walking motion in which the fantail rises upwards. The motor works and the peacock strolls forward well. With the original wooden triangular box.

Condition
There is wear throughout and loss to the feathers. The peacock is missing one eye. Tested, works. Not tested for prolonged use. Some wear to the box.
