Included are printed pictorial cards and RPPCs, bearing images of escapes from water tanks, barrels (some lined with spikes), straitjackets, ropes, trunks, handcuffs, and manacles, with others bearing portraits of the performers they advertise, among them Maxzini (plagiarizing a Houdini poster by Friedlander), Steens, Max Raffles, Josmah, Cerni, an anonymous child escapist, Martha Maxzini, Harry Morton (several different, some hand-colored), Hordini, Rudini, Harry Mortini, Mr. Kutschime, Szeny, Harry Blondini, Willy Willmanns, Buser Pius, Royaume de Lilliput, Joe Brody, and others. Minor duplication. A few cards SIGNED, some postally used. Condition generally good. An impressive collection of scarce images.
