A Chinese Four Panel Wood and Painted Porcelain Screen
Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, each wooden panel is set with six porcelain plaques decorated in blue and white and famille rose glazes, the upper porcelain panels depict Chinese court scenes together with Chinese calligraphy, and the lower plaques feature Daoist Immortal figures, presented in a wooden frame now attached to a silk lined board for display.

Condition
Overall good estate condition; some small losses to enamel on large painted plaque on fourth panel; some rubbing and wearing to some of the inscriptions making them appear lighter; some wear to wooden screen frame, especially to feet; not examined outside the frame.
