Description

Together with a Continental gilt-bronze figure of St. Michael on a circular grey stone base, 19th century.

Height of first 7 1/2 in (19 cm); height of second 19 7/8 (50.6 cm)

St. Luke:

N. Sakiel, New York.

Acquired from the above, March 2, 1956.

Condition

The figure of St. Mark with rubbing and losses to patination, once fitted with a halo, rectangular plain base later. The figure of St. Michael with rubbing and losses to gilding, globular base with holes, possibly once fitted with mounts, sword loose
