This is an Antique Album Quilt designed in 1929 by Ruby McKim.
It depicts her idea of a Flower Garden and is so named.
Ruby Short McKim was an American quilt designer, entrepreneur, teacher, writer and magazine editor.
She developed an early interest in drawing, and graduated from the New York School of Fine and Applied Art in 1912.
This example is in Mint Unused and Unwashed Condition.
The true color is "Peach" NOT pink.
It is made up of 56 blocks and of those, 28 are Appliqued Flowers.
The quilting is superb.
The workmanship is excellent.
