A group of six German silver boxes comprising; three Hanau examples, the first by Simon Rosenau, marked 800, the lid with a repousse scene of two winged putti, the base depicting a figure playing the lute, 7cm wide, another by Gebruder Glaser, Chester import 1911, 8cm wide, the final with a crowned R mark, imported by John George Smith, London 1900, depicting a courting couple, 5.5cm wide a cylindrical box or purse, marked 90, with a repousse tavern scene, 9cm wide a rectangular box, with a repousse stag, to gilt bands, 6cm wide and a final example, marked 925, depicting two putti, 5.5cm wide total 12.28ozt (6) Condition Report: The repousse decoration is worn to all examples. The unmarked stag example tests as silver.
