A Meissen style porcelain teapot and cover, late 18th century, of small bulging form, painted on one side with a rural scene depicting two children fishing by a riverbank, within an elaborate gilt cartouche of foliate scrollwork, with purple and pink ribbon work, gilt foliate and banding to the borders, the reverse with another rural scene depicting two children one duck hunting, the other fishing, the lid with gilt wreath, blue crossed sworders mark 16.5cm wide 10.5cm deep 11.5cm high Condition Report: Rubbing to the gilt and decoration. The lid sits loosely. Repair to the lid with crack to the wreath.
