Description
A painted wooden doll, 19th century, with painted features and articulated arms, on an associated simulated marble plinth, 13cm wide 40cm high Condition Report: Overall the doll is in distressed condition, but stable. Separation between the shoulder and elbow joints and the metal rods are permantly bent so the limbs are not fully articulated. Some splits to the wood at the shoulders. Evidence of alteration/repair to the face. General wear, peeling surfaces, and disintegration to paint but stable. Some heavy varnish to some areas. Sits securely on stand. See additional photos.
