mark of John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slate, London (1884-1888 date marks), ornate stem and handle featuring ornate scholarly scribe holding text, to include: a pair of round serving spoons (9 3/8 in.); pair of sugar tongs (4 1/2 in.); pair of ice tongs with claw ends (6 3/4 in.); a sugar sifter (6 1/2 in.); round spoon (6 1/2 in.); (18) coffee spoons (4 1/2 in.). All without monograms.
