Description
An original mid 19th century Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III, 1786 to 1865. The artwork depicts high ranking courtesan. The artwork is housed in an antique hand carved wooden frame. Utagawa Kunisada was a Japanese ukiyo e artist. He is considered the most popular, prolific, and commercially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints in 19th-century Japan.
