WW1 British War Medal 29th Battalion Australian Imperial Forces (A.I.F), British War medal, “991 PTE H. WOOD 29 BN A.I.F.” Herbert Wood, originally from Stepney, London was living in Melbourne when he attested for service. He had an interesting time in the Army being sentenced to field punishment No.2 on 2 occasions and he was wounded in the foot on 29th August 1918.
