Chinese Ming Dynasty Longquan Porcelain Washing Pot. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, open round centre with flaring wide rim, dome body, raised on round foot base slight concave. Warm and uniform green color applied to the whole surface. The Longquan celadons is a type of green-glazed Chinese and were among the finest of a range of celadon wares produced in China, and led stylistic and technical developments. The celadons were produced in a range of shades of colour, centred on olive-green, but extending to greenish blues and browns.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
