The Bowl has a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. Warm and uniform turquoise glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Sgraffito with abundant lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Green is the most important variety of China?s porcelain. Green stands for health, prosperity, and harmony. In Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination. The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
