Chinese Ming Dynasty Chenghua Doucai Flower Porcelain Bowl. The Bowl has a shallow body, slight deep, thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the flaring mouth rim, raised on a small round, with slight concave footing. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against doucai design color, depicted of flowers bloom interspersed foliage on round framing medallion. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within rectangle line. Made in The Years ChengHua Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
