English porcelain allegorical figure of Fame, Bloor Derby Porcelain Manufactory, c.1830s, modeled as a winged figure blowing a trumpet, robes inscribed with the names of William the Fourth, Lord Althorp, Lord John Russell, Earl Grey, Lord Brougham, Thomas Hatwood, O'Con..(?), Lord Ebrington, and Strutt, raised on a parcel-gilt rocaille scroll plinth with billowing clouds, iron-red printed mark of a circle enclosing a crown, a UV examination reveals restoration, to left thumb and base of wings restored, right arm restuck, base possibly displaying evidence of professional restoration, approx 11.5"h, 2.5lbs
