Abraham Palansky (1890- 1956, American) still life acrylic painting. Palansky emigrated to the United States, first living in Chicago where he was a house painter by trade and fathered three children, two sonsfrom his first marriage and a daughter from his second. In Chicago, he studied at the School of the Art Institute and subsequently exhibitedthere in the 1940s, earning prizes in 1941 and 1945. He also exhibited at the Illinois State Museum, the No-Jury Society of Artists, the San Francisco Museum of Art, Pasadena Art Institute and the Los Angeles Museum ofArt.
