Three Yellowlegs Shorebirds, Willis Wharf, Virginia
Willis Wharf, Virginia, circa 1910, carved and painted wood, iron bills.
Longest length 12.5 in.
Two of these Yellowlegs shorebird decoys were collected by noted southern decoy collector Buster Humphries in Willis Wharf on the eastern shore of Virginia. They sport a wonderful surface and a great running form.
Two formerly from the collection of Kroghie Andresen, the other being formerly from the collection of Louis Daniel, III.

Original paint with scuffing to paint and gunning wear, two have chipped tails.
