COLLECTION OF LEO & GRACE DUROCHER EPHEMERA WITH SEVERAL SIGNATURES
Includes six (6) cut signature cards signed by Leo Durocher. A court ordered Judgment Note dated January 18, 1934 ordering Leo Durocher to pay a "Frank C. Schroer" $100 On Demand in a Cincinnati court of law regarding his divorce proceeding from Mrs. Ruby Hartley Durocher, his 1st wife. Also included is a letter from "Peninsular Telephone Company" of Tampa, Florida dated May 19, 1942, regarding an unpaid balance for service rendered of $35.80, with an accompanying check of "Grace Dozier Durocher" made out to "Peninsular Telegraph Co." for that same amount, assorted airplane travel stubs, a personal Western Union telegram from "DADDY" (Leo Durocher) to Mrs. Grace Durocher, regarding how much he will miss her dated "1942 APR 14", and another Grace Dozier Durocher check made out to Leo Durocher for $25 dated Nov 19, 1934, a handwritten phone number list on "Leo Durocher - Brooklyn Baseball Club" letterhead with numbers including Branch Rickey and twelve (12) other numbers, and a large collection of addressed and postmarked envelopes, most addressed to Miss Grace Dozier and Mrs. Leo Durocher, a few to Leo Durocher, including several postcards.
