Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Tairona, ca. 1000 to 1500 CE. A petite, tumi-shaped pendant formed from tumbaga that includes 40.9% gold. The pendant exhibits a slender handle adorned with filigree circles as well as a crescent-shaped head with upturned points. Size: 0.31" L x 0.94" W x 1.09" H (0.8 cm x 2.4 cm x 2.8 cm); tumbaga quality: 48% to 50% copper, 40.9% gold, 8% silver; weight: 4.5 grams
