Native American, Southwestern United States, Hopi, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A set of 2 hand-built and stone-burnished Hopi pottery jars, each of cylindrical form, with the redware vessel displaying stylized avian creatures while the larger, cream-ground vessel showcases expertly-arranged geometric motifs in hues of black and red. Size of largest: 4.46" W x 8.4" H (11.3 cm x 21.3 cm)
