Jeff Dixon creates stunning abstract compositions that are explosive with color and shape. In addition, each piece shares a similar color palette but is complete unique in its arrangement of texture and shape.


Artist Biography

Born in 1973 in a small village in China, Dixon knew from a very early age that he wanted to be an artist. Watching his grandfather work in the traditional Chinese art forms, Jeff was inspired to continue on the artistic legacy his grandfather set forth. Jeff Studied at the Beijing Art Academy in China, specializing in multiple art forms ranging from traditional to the very contemporary and modern styles.

Having formal training in fine detail work by his grandfather and artistic education, Jeff had to re-teach himself to become more fluid in order to master the organic feeling his abstracts reflect. Even though many of his paintings have a very soft and blended appearance, the more you look, you can see that Jeff has used his detailed training to make a multitude of colors blend seamlessly, tricking your eyes into seeing only one.

Jeff Dixon introduced his artwork to the Western world by means of the Art Expo in New York, where it was well received. His pieces can now be seen in select galleries and private collections throughout the United States and Asia.
