Lot of TWO Early 20th Century Framed Decorative Items
Lot of 2 Early 20th Century Items, (1) October 30, 1911-Dated, Typed Letter with Facsimilie Signature and (1) October 27, 1915-Dated, U.S. Internal Revenue Order Form for Opium, Both Nicely Framed, Choice Extremely Fine.
1. Typed Letter measuring 8.25” x 10” (by sight) is framed to an overall size of 16.75” x 18.75”. The Letterhead reads: “Toilet Paper Department United States Envelope Company Springfield, Mass.” and is addressed to “Charles A. Drew, Supt., City Hospital, Wocester, Mass.” This Letter is in response to a request for “wooden rolls for Toilet Paper Fixtures.” The company states they have no record of furnishing their products and “...would not care to furnish our Toilet Paper Fixtures to be used in connection with other manufacturers make of paper.” Not examined out of frame.

2. U.S. Internal Revenue Order Form for Opium, 6” x 8.5” (by sight), framed to an overall size of 14.75” x 17.25”. Stamped “Duplicate” at top, this order form is stamped for “R. L. Booker” and signed by him at bottom along with his address. Issued by an “Act of Congress, Approved December 17, 1914.”, for certain drugs. Not examined out of frame. (2 items).
