This rod is designed for a DT5 using the light tip at .069" dia. and a DT 6 using the heavy tip at .078" dia., tip sizes confirmed with micrometer. The butt section is marked in ink "A.V. Lotti - Detroit -Jan. '51; 8-15-4 "Parabolic" Bamboo wt. 2.51 oz.'; Finished wt. 3.92 oz., the cane is a medium dark flamed, guides are wrapped in a pale yellow/gold, hardware is blued. The rod sports an all cork grip with Young's signature thumb depression at front of cork tapered backwards to a D/L seat with cork spacer, butt cap marked "Paul H. Young Co. Detroit - Mich." The hook keeper is missing, cork is ridged and soiled from use, the glass like varnish is still in Ex condition showing only the smallest marks in places from careful use, overall the rod is in Very Good plus condition, with unlabeled bag tube.
