From the Collection of Greg Page. This honorary gold-plated and enameled Louisiana State Trooper Badge was given to Elvis by then Chief Deputy Tommy Hollingsworth, who later became Sheriff Hollingsworth. Elvis collected badges and was fascinated with law enforcement so this was a welcome addition to his collection. The badge, measuring approximately 2 1/4 by 2 1/4 inches (6 cm x 6 cm), is accompanied by letters of authenticity from Sheriff Hollingsworth and Sam Thompson (Elvis’ security chief and brother of Linda Thompson) and by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
