Six hand colored lithographs on wove paper from the “History of the Indian Tribes of North America”, by Thomas McKenney and James Hall. Circa 1836 – 1844. Including one lithograph by artist Charles Bird King (American 1785-1862) and lithographers Lehman and Duval, 1836. The collection includes, “Chon-Ca-Pe”; Julcee-Mathla, a Seminole Chief”; “Ne-O-Mon-Ne, an Ioway Chief”; “Se-Loc-Ta, a Creek Chief”; “Ap-Pa-Noo-See, Saukie Chief”; and “Nea-Math-La, a Seminole Chief”.
