A Group of Four Chinese Scholar's Items, 19th Century
A group of four scholar's items: First is a bronze enameled square cup with a beautiful geometric design. Second is a silver covered box with a hinged lid that is molded in the shape of Buddha's Hand. It is etched with designs on the top and sides, and there is a mark on the bottom. Third is a blue glazed water coupe from the late 19th century, with a double ring on the bottom. Fourth is a blue glazed brush washer with a double ring on the bottom. The items are approximately 1 1/4 inches high X 1 7/8 inches wide, 1 5/8 inches high X 2 3/8 inches wide, 1 3/8 inches high X 2 3/16 inches wide, and 2 3/4 inches high X 8 5/8 inches wide, respectively.
