Askania KTH 53 Cinetheodolite. A metric tracking instrument with 35 mm double frame camera movement for data recording. Camera mechanism operates on an electronic signal which can cause 2 or more shutters to function simultaneously. Recorded on each film frame is azimuth reading, elevation reading, aircraft position with reference to the optical axis, and time of taking each data frame. Used for missile, aircraft, and other tracking applications. Mid 20th C.
