This stylish, late 1800's to early 1900's baby buggy, is fully functional and 100% original from the patinated wooden handles to the victorian era spoke wheels. The top wooden carrier portion has the original green paint and gold pin stripes. It is very rare to find a buggy of this caliber with all of its original parts and that has no damage. The biggest surprise and most unique attribute of this carrier, is the secret compartment that is hidden under where the baby lays. The hidden secret compartment has a sliding panel door that opens to a medium size storage space, it was used for aristocrats and people of wealth to hide their jewels and currency from thieves.
