The carved Zitan wood wish-granted-wand having elongated s-curved wand, with head. The circular ruyi head is hand carved in a hobnail pattern with applied carved wooden character. The rectangular central jade plaque is carved and incised curved patterns. The bottom forms a geometric end to the ruyi. The front of the ruyi's wood is carved in shapes similar to the central jade plaque. The wood shows purple-brownish patina, with feathery fine grain. The jade shows pale-celadon with clean tone.
