Item Details

Description

Rare Hudson Valley shoe foot blanket box in old paint having a molded edge to top, architectural molding on base with shaped feet, circa 1800. The box in 100 year old apple green paint, some of which has been scraped down to expose the original blue (noticeable to the top and part of the front) - note also that a narrow piece of wood approximately 1/4" has been inserted in the top front to compensate for shrinkage of the top board - hardly noticeable. Overall good condition. 43"L x 17.5"D x 19"H.
