Description
British, 19th century. A collection of two 19th century hand colored botanical lithographs, comprising "Chamaerops Martiana" by engraver M. Gauci (English, 19th century) after Nathaniel Wallich (Danish/British, 1786-1854) from "Plantae Asiaticae Rariores" (or "Descriptions and Figures of a Select Number of Unpublished East Indian Plants"), printed by Englemann, Graf, Coindet & Co., botanical print depicting palm plant; and "Corypha Taliera". Each framed approximately 26.75" x 21". Each sight approximately 19.5" x 13.5".
