Gorgeous watercolor of fall landscape. Measures 10" x 8". Signed lower right and dated 1950. I have included a photo of Mr. Busing for your reference but it is not included in the auction. Provenance on this item: purchased from the estate of Julie Von Bevern to whom many of these paintings are dedicated. They were indeed very good friends. There are many watercolors up for auction. Some of them are signed but many are not. They all originated from the same estate and are all original Ferdinand A. Busing originals. The dates of these paintings are 1940s and 1950s. Ferdinand Busing was born in Brooklyn and came to Staten Island in 1902. Mr. Busing worked as a painter, etcher, newspaper cartoonist and journalist. He was the art manager and artist for the old New York Sun newspaper. Known primarily for his oils, he also worked in watercolor, sculpture and etching and was an illustrator for several magazines.Artist: Ferdinand A. Busing (1881 - 1962)
