Karl Faberge Solid "56" Gold Pill Box W/Diamond Accent, Royal Blue & White Guilloche Enamel & Mirror Inside (Comes in Original Box). This stunning pre-revolution piece was made by Karl Faberge himself, and is made of solid "56" yellow gold (the Russian standard for 14K). The piece has strategic attention to detail, as it has bands that line the piece and stylized floral scenes that accent each of the corners. The top of the box depicts Russian eagles that are embellished with white guilloche enamel and is finished with a 0.05ct genuine mine-cut diamond. The piece also has a near flawless genuine ruby cabochon push button release, and has a circular, royal blue guilloche enamel accent on the top. The inside of the piece is finished with a mirror, and the piece has a bail for versatile use, as it can be carried in a bag, or hung on a necklace. We have never seen a Faberge piece quite like this one, and it is truly considered a modern treasure. The piece has the work master mark "A.N" (Anders Nevalainen (1858-1933). Mr. Nevalainen is best known for his finishings of gold works, such as this piece. This is a magnificent find, and truly a one of a kind piece. The piece also comes in its original Faberge box.
