Description
Cartier (French, founded 1847), circa 1990s. A pair of gold plated eyeglasses, with rosewood temples and glass crystal inset bridge and end pieces, in the original signature red box. Marked. Approximate height 1.825", width 6", depth 6". Provenance: From the Estate of Ms. Caroline F. Oglesby of Swainsboro, Georgia.
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Minor wear to frame, with some light scuffs. Missing one crystal to side. Gilt is tarnishing slightly with minor discoloration at seams. Some scratching to metal. Interior of case with some discoloration to interior and scratching to exterior. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
