Qing Period antique Chinese necklace made from frosted rock crystal 'bone' beads which graduate from 10mm by 8mm, up to 13mm by 11mm. These beads are spaced by six 8mm corrugated 14k yellow gold ball beads, and the strand culminates at the center with a grade A green jadeite bead a very large faceted briolette ruby. The surface of the jadeite bead is carved with fruit, flowers, and foliage. This jadeite bead measures 22mm long and wide. Suspended from this jadeite bead is a very large faceted ruby briolette which measures 17mm long by 11mm wide, and 14mm thick. It is faceted and weighs 17.5 carats. This necklace measures approximately 30 3/4" long in overall wearable length, and weighs a total of 93 grams. It is hallmarked on the clasp 14K 585.
