Bio: Penius Leriche (b.1940) Born in Jacmel on June 2, 1940, Leriche attended primary school at Les Freres du Sacre Coeur at Miragoane before moving on to study at Lycee Toussaint Louverture in Port-au-Prince. Court clerk and teacher were his jobs before becoming a painter. At the behest of painter Guy Desire, Leriche joined the Centre d'Art in 1971.
