CONNECTICUT, CIRCA 1901 A rare and all original example of a J. & E. Stevens mechanical cast iron magician bank. When activated by the push lever, the magician lowers his hat making the coin disappear into the table. The underside bears the earliest mark with raised "PATD JAN22 1901" and "AND PENDING" stamp.
Condition
Overall very good condition in working order with minor wear to paint from use and age. We have examined the bank under a black light and there is no sign of repainting. An all original, untouched example.

Passed down through three generations of a Woonsocket, Rhode Island family since new.
