Description
19th century, Native American, the woven reed body with strips of beaded deerskin and tin "snake scaring" cones, the base of deerskin, with a hang strap, containing two old tags, "San Carlos Reservation" and "San Carlos Apache Burden;" the San Carlos Reservation, in southeastern Arizona, incorporates the Apache, Chiricahua Apache, and Yavapai tribes. 7" H X 7" diameter. Lacking several cones.
