HANGING TWO-BURNER KEROSENE ANGLE LAMP, spherical body with a brass-finish, harp-style handle, exterior with medallion and foliate design, top of the font pressed "THE ANGLE LAMP/CO. NY". Fitted with two blown-molded shoulder connecters and colorless opalescent chimney-shades. Electrified with each burner having significant modifications, font tank undamaged. Angle Lamp Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 17 3/4" HOA, 11" H to top of the font tank, 13 1/2" DOA.
One opalescent shade with a minor bruise to the fitter, remaining shade and connectors undamaged with typical minor roughness to the fitters. Body undamaged other than modifications made during the electrification process.
Provenance: From a Virginia private collection.
